Empowering Your NDIS Journey
Psychological Support with Inspire Mindful Psychology
Disability is certainly a challenge but let us not allow it to be our obstacle.
We respect the impact of disability, and we therefore focus on nurturing and appreciating all the existing abilities that help us build bridges towards achieving a fruitful and joyful life, while gaining maximal independence.
We are fortunate and blessed to live in Australis where the unique National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) program was designed wholeheartedly focusing on helping people with disabilities to achieve desired quality of life and maximise their functional capacities and independence.
Navigating the NDIS structure and support pathways might at times be complex, especially when seeking psychological support. Inspire Mindful Psychology, based in Southport, Queensland, is a provider deeply committed to assisting NDIS Participants in enhancing their mental health and achieving personal desired goals optimising their independence.
Understanding the NDIS and Psychological Support
The NDIS might be able to offer funding to eligible individuals who live with challenging disabilities and help them to access necessary services and supports aimed to improve functional ability and best participation in their daily living as well as social, work, and community life. These include capacity building supports designed to develop skills and increase independence. Psychological services is a support category that usually falls under the NDIS “Capacity Building Supports,” aiming to enhance participants’ capacity, independence and community involvement.
Based in Southport on the Gold Coast, the Inspire Mindful Psychology have been a NDIS provider since 2019, with clinical practitioners offering psychological services tailored respectfully to meet the unique needs of each participant. The team of Clinical Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists, General Psychologists, and Provisional Psychologists deliver evidence-based therapies to support individuals in their journey towards improved capacity, improved mental health and achieved well-being with desired independence.

Comprehensive Clinical, Cognitive Functional and Neuropsychological Assessments
Before applying for NDIS support or during plan reviews, comprehensive assessments are crucial. These assessments offer detailed insights into the delicate levels of cognitive functioning, emotional regulation capacities, and daily living as well as social communication challenges, aligning with NDIS requirements for evidence of disability, and indeed providing a solid foundation for respectful understanding and tailored support plans.

Therapeutic and Psychosocial Support
Our team offers individualised therapy sessions focusing on empowering people with disability towards better self-confidence, building and re-building life skills, resilience, and quality social connections. Utilising evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches with integrated Mindfulness skills, we aim to enhance every capacity in NDIS Participants to fruitfully and joyfully engage in daily activities as well as in community life, empowering Participants to live fulfilling lives.
