Samara O’Loughlan is a warm and empathetic Generally Registered Psychologist with around 10 years’ experience in the field of Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and has worked in various settings with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has experience working in a private outpatient clinic as well as in non-for-profit organisations and mental health clinics.
Samara O’Loughlan is focused on working with Clients to help them develop effective strategies and gain valuable insight to improve their life and ease suffering. Each session provides the client an opportunity to explore areas of concern, gain insight, and experience positive outcomes as well as finding new and valuable ways to manage life’s challenges.
Incorporating evidenced-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy; and based on the client’s therapeutic needs; Samara O’Loughlan works with the client collaboratively to determine the best approach for them. Using a person-centred, strengths-based approach, Samara is able to help her Clients address a variety of issues in a safe environment.
